Our employees adapted with grace and enthusiasm. This award really belongs to each person on our team who made 2020 a successful year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here is a glance into some of the items discussed in our BBB Awards for Excellence application&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nFor our customers:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We offered new financing plans and contactless appointment options.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>When demand for home service providers surged as people completed more home projects, we restricted our schedule to prioritize our existing customers.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_9474\" style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9474\" class=\"wp-image-9474 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/mistersparky-houston.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image-from-iOS-1-470x199-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"470\" height=\"199\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-9474\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">An example of just how many home project were going on in 2020&#8230; a line to get in to Home Depot!<\/p><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>For our team:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our dispatch, customer experience, and administrative staff began working remote. Using an always-on video conference room, we created a virtual office to collaborate and serve customers.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9470 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/mistersparky-houston.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1638-470x261-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"470\" height=\"261\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>After investing in a virtual phone system in 2019, our call center was able to operate from home.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9471 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/mistersparky-houston.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/File-1-470x170-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"470\" height=\"170\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Our technicians dispatched from home and attended their training virtually. They wore new protective equipment like masks and gloves, and were cautious to disinfect themselves between customers&#8217; homes and when coming home to their families.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9472\" src=\"http:\/\/mistersparky-houston.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Image-from-iOS-279x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"279\" height=\"300\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9473\" src=\"http:\/\/mistersparky-houston.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20200719_102029_HDR-225x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>We set up relationships with COVID testing centers to send employees at the first sign of symptoms. Our team was empowered to take their health seriously.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>When scheduling appointments, we screened customers for recent symptoms and scheduled the appointment at a later date when necessary.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Rapid communication and transparency were key to giving our team members a sense of security during uncertainty.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Our essential workers needed something special to show our appreciation&#8230; so our company&#8217;s leaders delivered lunch!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9475\" src=\"http:\/\/mistersparky-houston.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8004-400x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9476\" src=\"http:\/\/mistersparky-houston.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8005-400x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9477\" src=\"http:\/\/mistersparky-houston.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8014-225x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since our community has been recovering from COVID-19, we set our 2021 priorities around legendary service and connection:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Improving our operational excellence.<\/strong> It was good (and necessary) to try new things. In 2021, we&#8217;ve been making sure that we do those things well and continue to deliver legendary service to our customers.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Connection within our team.<\/strong> We&#8217;ve pivoted back to a hybrid work model and even gathered for our annual summer bash!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for choosing Mister Sparky as your electrician, especially during these critical times.
